Bhubaneswar, 15/10/2025 : Former minister & Biju Mahila Janata Dal President Smt. Snehangini Chhuria has been announced as Biju Janata Dal’s candidate for the upcoming Nuapada by-election.
The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has nominated the deceased MLA’s son Jay Dholakia as its candidate for the bypoll. Jay joined the BJP a few days ago. The Congress party was first to announce tribal leader Ghasiram Majhi as its nominee for the by-election. Ghasiram Majhi has already filed his nomination today.
