Bhubaneswar/Nuapada, 11th October 2025 : Former BJD leader late Rajendra Dholakia’s Son Joins BJP alongwith his family members in the presence of Honorable Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, BJP State President Manmohan Samal, Ex BJP State President Basanta Panda, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo, Minister Suryabanshi Suraj, MLA Jai Narayan Mishra & other senior leaders.
It’s a big setback for the opposition Biju Janata Dal who are on the backfoot right now and looking for a new candidate for Nuapada Assembly constituency which is going to face Bypolls on 11th November 2025 after demise of Ex MLA Rajendra Dholakia.
BJP may declare Jay Dholakia as their candidate. Already Party is convincing EX MLA & MP Basanta Panda for this change. However we have to see how he reacts in the coming days.
However no big names from BJD cadre joined with Jay in this ‘Mishrana Parva’ . we have to see who all are going with Jay in the coming days.
